Some say that today's digital theatre projection can equal or surpass the quality of a 35mm film print.

Others point out that digital projection can only equal or surpass a mass-produced 35mm film print that has been run off a platter in a plex for a few days, and that a properly produced, timed and professionally projected film print still beats digital.
